As diplomatic ties between the West and Iran improve so do the opportunities for living in the country. With the prospect of sanctions being lifted many companies are looking to invest in this relatively untapped market. It means that Western expats will start to return as memories of attacks on embassies and kidnappings start to fade. Until recent times Tehran had a long history of being a cosmopolitan centre in the Middle East. Some pioneers of the new openness are already beginning to find out. Anita Papp is from Hungary and is married to an Iranian - she has been living in Tehran for three years.
